Only a handful of pews were filled, and that suited the day. The church is bright inside, with pale walls, a vaulted ceiling crossed by blue-painted beams, and a stained glass window above the carved altar. Nicole's cathedral-length lace veil ran down the altar steps behind her while the priest spoke, and Ryan stood close at her side in charcoal gray. With so few people in the room, every small gesture at the front carried all the way to the back row.
Afterward, portraits moved to the Lower Lagoon. Ryan's burgundy tie matched the dark red roses in Nicole's bouquet. They stopped at a white gazebo hung with flower baskets, crossed a little white footbridge, and ended up on the grass beside an old stone arch bridge, where Nicole's veil stretched out across nearly the full width of the frame. A few trees were just starting to turn, and the afternoon sun came through them warm and low.
Ceremony
Blue-painted beams, stained glass, and a small circle of family kept the ceremony quiet and close.
Portraits
A gazebo, a footbridge, and a stone arch bridge gave 3 different backdrops within a short walk.

Church interiors with pale walls and stained glass stay fairly bright, but ask ahead about photography rules during Mass, since many parishes limit movement near the altar. For portraits afterward, a nearby park with water and old stonework gives variety without much driving. A long veil needs a helper and a dry stretch of grass to spread out cleanly.
